What is the CDA exam?

DANB's flagship credential, composed of three component exams: GC (General Chairside Assisting), RHS (Radiation Health & Safety), and ICE (Infection Control). All three must be passed to earn the CDA.

Current CPR/BLS certification (healthcare provider level) PLUS one of: (1) CODA-accredited program graduation, (2) high school diploma + 3,500 hours of experience, or (3) dental/dental hygiene program graduation.

How do I register for a DANB exam?

How often must CDA certification be renewed?
